Circle of Excellence Awards

Just a friendly reminder that it is time to nominate individuals for the Circle of Excellence Awards.  It would be wonderful for us to represent the nursing program and nominate any instructors (lecture, lab, or clinical) who have helped us through our education.

The Circle of Excellence awards were developed to recognize Terra State Community College employees who dedicate their service and time in making Terra State a place of quality service and education.  If you have found a staff or faculty member to be particularly helpful and you would like to nominate him/her for the Circle of Excellence award, you can find the nomination for attached to an email sent to all students.  Additionally, nomination forms can be found on the student portal.  The nomination form is divided into four categories: Administration/Professional Staff, Support Staff, Full-Time Faculty, and Adjunct Faculty and Part-Time Instructors.  Employees who have won the award within the last two years are not eligible to win. 

Timeline

Nomination forms are due back to Sue Strausbaugh by February 14, 2014.  The committee, made up of the winners from the past two years, will convene and have a final decision by April 4, 2014.  Awards will be presented during Accolades, the annual employee recognition dinner, on May 15, 2014.

Remember, you are more than welcome to nominate multiple employees.  Please complete the form and submit it to Sue Strausbaugh B205 OR email the completed form to sstrausbaugh01@terra.edu.  All nominations will be kept confidential.
