Surveys
SNA officers distributed surveys at the beginning of the semester to collect ideas for possible community service opportunities and charity options.  Patti has not gotten those surveys back from some classes.
Class Reps: please check with your respective classes ASAP to see if they have surveys to turn in so voting can be completed.  Voting cannot take place until this is taken care of.  Once the surveys are turned in, we will vote in class.
Community Service
The SNA should be doing at least one type of community service/volunteer opportunity every month.  Manning the table at the Student Activities Fair during Welcome Week (held today, Jan 22) counts as January’s volunteer opportunity.  We still need to plan a community service project for February.
Class Reps will assist as coordinators of community service projects and will be responsible for recruiting volunteers from their classes.
Certificates of Participation have been designed and will be handed out to anyone who participates in community service this semester.  These certificates are a nice addition to your 4th semester portfolio. In addition, whenever you participate in any volunteer opportunities, be sure to take pictures, which you can also include in your portfolio.
Treasurer’s Report
Last semester, the SNA had a balance of $1408.90.
A donation in the amount of $518.66 was paid to Parker’s Purpose (last semester’s charity choice). A donation in the amount of $350 (excess funds) was paid to the Aaron Kajfasz Scholarship.
The current balance is $540.24.
Fundraiser – 5k Run/Walk
Dylan Adkins will be coordinating the 5k, planned for Sunday, April 13.
One of our first tasks is to map out the route around Terra’s campus.  Registration forms are currently being designed by Amanda Clymer.  The registration fee for the 5k will be $30 for early registration and $40 for late registration.  The deadline for early registration is TBD.
Patti and Laura Alspaugh discussed the possibility of having Laura’s Cub Scout troop volunteer to man the water stations.
Report from the SNA Student Senator, Melissa Rimboch
Monies are available from the Student Government for our use if we apply for them; Patti plans on applying for funds to cover water, fruit, etc. for the 5k.
Mentor Program
Mentors: if you haven’t made contact with your assigned Fundamentals students, please do so!
Fundamentals students: please remember to check your Terra email (not just Angel/Canvas) because your mentors will email you there, as well as others on campus (Dean Hall, etc.).

Respectfully Submitted,
Amanda Clymer, SNA Secretary
