Concerns –
There were no faculty members present so there were
no concerns to be addressed.

The Board of Regents have issued funds to those who
were eligible.

Information:
There are numerous scholarships available
to nursing students.
|
The scholarships available will be posted on the
board down by the lab with the deadline dates

Community
Services
Trash Pickup
went very well. We had a total of 22 people participated, 12 of them being
students. First trash pick was canceled due to the weather.

. GOOD NEWS:
We are looking into adopting Napoleon Road.

Service- Liberty Center
Liberty Center went well; we had 3 students talk
about flu shots and proper hand washing.

Service Options:
We are looking into doing community service at the
Humane Society and The School of Hope.

World’s Aid
Day
Looking for
Volunteers to help set up, and hand out information on Aids. This event will
be held December 2 from 10-2

Mentor Program-
Looking for a coordinator that can organize the
program.
|
Elizabeth Griffin volunteered to be the Mentor
Coordinator for the Spring 2014 semester. Please contact Elizabeth if you are
interested in becoming a mentor.( egriffin004@terra.edu) Mentors will need to
be MSIII for Spring 2014

A total of 580.00 dollars has been raised as of
10/23.
The final profit will be posted 10/30

We are still waiting on Fundamentals to turn in the
raffle tickets. The drawing for the winners will be October 30. The winners
will be contacted by phone or email.

forms are being passed out.

The deadline for t-shirt order fees is November 6. Additional
order forms are in the Nursing office

Government-
There will be an open house for Building G
November 12. They are looking for volunteers to give tours for high school
students, set up, tear down and greet people when they arrive.

November 14 from 5 -9
They would
also like a SNA booth on November 14.
They are also
looking for students to seat on the Financial Committee.

NEW FEE
STARTING NEXT SEMESTER-
Starting for
the Spring semester there will be a
student activity fee. It is $2 per credit hour. A percentage of this fee will
go to the student organizations.
