SNA Meeting 12/4/12

1107: Meeting called to order, faculty not present and no issues were voiced that needed to be addressed by them.
Colleen: T-shirts will be here Saturday Dec. 8, 2012 due to mix up with payment.  Colleen will pick up and deliver to classrooms Mon, Tues, and Wed.  Big apologies about the delay in shipment!!
1109: Sarah: Bake sale was a success!!  Thirty-two people  participated this time around and each received $5.75 to their accounts.  Bake sales can bring in more money, please participate all the rewards go to you!  Thank you again to all who participated this time around.  Our charity this semester is Heartbeat and $100 was donated.
1110: Colleen: Pinning/Graduation will be Thursday December 13, 2012 in SAC at 6pm.  All are welcome to come and see how it works!  Please send an email to Colleen or Sarah and let them know if you'll attend.  Extra seats will be available if you are unable to respond in time.  You can wear dress clothes and the new officers will need to wear their ID badges.  
Jaime: You are all also welcome to come early around 5pm and help set up chairs.
1115: Colleen: PTA program wants to start a student organization.  Colleen has so kindly nominated us all to help.  Please be welcoming to them, they have been invited to come and sit in on a SNA meeting to see how it goes. 
1117: Colleen: Thank you all!!!  Good luck to all!  Sarah: Thank you and Good luck to all in your nursing career.
1118: Meeting turned over to the new President, Jaime Wagner. Introductions were made by Jaime, Richard (co-president), Marisa (treasurer) and Stacy (secretary).
Emails were written on board and will be posted at a later date.
1120: Jaime:  Looking to restart the mentoring program.  New ideas are going around trying to upgrade it a bit, more information will be posted as it is arranged.  One new change is that the mentor will contact the student.  If you would like to be a mentor let one of know. 
11:22: Jaime:  Asked if there were any questions or concerns and none were voiced.
